Re-edition of Original Pierre Jeanneret Chair from c. 1953-54
The king chair, officially known as “Office cane chair” in solid reclaimed teak with seat and backrest in braided canework. “Compass”- type double side leg assembly, with legs connected by two crosspieces and supporting the armrests. Slanted, slightly curved backrest, attached to the seat. All our pieces are made by hand using the exact same materials and techniques used during the Chandigarh masterplan. This item is made to order and can be customized.
