A decorative pair of Kavadi panels, one depicting Ganesha and the other Murugan. The pavilions are supported on stands composed of triple headed nagas (snakes). A kavadi is a portable wooden altar, often with intricately adorned ends, surmounted by an arch made of bamboo and covered with cloth, which is carried on the shoulders by the devotees of Kartikeya during pilgrimages and processions.
